The challenge
Outdoor systems—pool and spa equipment, lighting, irrigation, and cameras—are typically controlled by separate proprietary apps that do not talk to each other, and none of them offer reliable remote oversight of the property as a whole.
The solution
We integrated pool and spa control, outdoor lighting, environmental monitoring, and security cameras into one local automation platform. Custom hardware bridged equipment that had no native integration, and secure remote access provides property control and monitoring from anywhere without exposing devices directly to the internet.
Outcome
Outdoor systems operate from a single, coherent interface with automations coordinating lighting, equipment, and monitoring, plus secure remote oversight of the property.
Lessons learned
Outdoor deployments demand real attention to environmental protection and network segmentation. Isolating equipment on its own network and planning for weather exposure prevented headaches down the line.
